Tongs with chanterelles


This is a delightful version of Pinza, a traditional Italian flatbread pizza, with flavorful red onion, chanterelle mushrooms, and fresh dill.

Ingredients:


  • 1 ready-made pizza dough (or make your own)
  • 1 red onion
  • 150 g fresh chanterelle mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • A handful of fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 100 g cream
  • 100 g grated mozzarella cheese
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Here is how you do it:


  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a OneSheet or a OneTray to the desired thickness and shape. You do not need to preheat your OnePan trays.
  3. Spread the sour cream evenly over the pizza dough.
  4. Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese over the sour cream.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the red onion and chanterelle mushrooms. Fry them until they are soft and the mushrooms have gained some color.
  6. Distribute the sautéed red onion and chanterelles evenly over the pizza. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Bake in the oven at 220°C (430°F) for about 10 minutes or until the pizza dough is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  8. Remove your Pinza from the oven, sprinkle with fresh dill, and serve immediately.
