Crispy quesadillas with BBQ chicken

Crispy tortilla, melted cheese, and juicy BBQ chicken – can it get any better? This simple chicken quesadilla is made directly in the OnePan 24 cm, the frying pan that provides a perfect sear without anything sticking.

A quick and flavorful recipe that works just as well for a weekday dinner as for weekend coziness. With OnePan, you get even heat, crispy edges, and easy cleaning afterward.

Ingredients

1–2 kycklingfiléer
Salt, peppar & paprikapulver
3 msk BBQ-sås
2 tortillabröd
1 röd lök, tunt skivad
1 vitlöksklyfta, finhackad
1 dl riven ost (gärna cheddar)
1 tsk tomatpuré (valfritt)
1 msk olivolja eller smör

Here's how you do it

  1. Heat up OnePan 24 on medium heat with a little oil or butter. Season the chicken and fry for about 10 minutes, turning once.
  2. Remove the chicken, shred it finely, and set aside.
  3. In the same pan – sauté onion and garlic until softened. Add tomato paste and a splash of water if desired.
  4. Stir in the BBQ sauce and chicken, let everything mix well.
  5. Place a tortilla in the pan, sprinkle cheese on half of it, add the BBQ chicken, and more cheese on top. Fold over and fry on low heat until the surface is golden and the cheese has melted.
  6. Cut into pieces and serve directly from your OnePan – warm, sticky, and absolutely perfect.
