Crispy quesadillas with BBQ chicken

Crispy tortilla, melted cheese, and juicy BBQ chicken - could it get any better? This easy chicken quesadilla is made directly in the OnePan 24 cm, the frying pan that delivers a perfect sear without anything sticking.

A quick and flavorful recipe that is just as suitable for a weekday dinner as it is for a cozy weekend treat. With OnePan, you get even heat, crispy edges, and easy cleanup afterward.

Ingredients

1–2 chicken fillets
Salt, pepper & paprika powder
3 tbsp BBQ sauce
2 tortillas
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 dl grated cheese (cheddar preferred)
1 tsp tomato paste (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter

Here’s how you do it

Heat the OnePan 24 over medium heat with a little oil or butter. Season the chicken and fry for about 10 minutes, turning once.
Remove the chicken, slice it finely, and set it aside.
In the same pan - sauté the onion and garlic until softened. Add tomato paste, if desired, and a splash of water.
Stir in the BBQ sauce and chicken, and mix everything thoroughly.
Place a tortilla in the pan, sprinkle cheese over one half, add the BBQ chicken, and top with more cheese. Fold it over and fry over low heat until golden and the cheese has melted.
Cut into pieces and serve straight from your OnePan - hot, gooey, and absolutely perfect.
