Puff pastry sheets, cut into circles
50g melted butter
50g sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 egg (for egg wash)
Powdered sugar for garnish
  1. Prepare the dough: Preheat your oven to 200°C. Roll out the puff pastry and use a round cutter to cut the dough into circles.

  2. Make the cinnamon butter: Mix the melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl until smooth.

  3. Shape the bows: Brush each puff pastry circle with the cinnamon-butter mixture. To create the bow shape:
Fold the left and right edges of the circle toward the center, slightly overlapping them.
Pinch the middle to form the bow, leaving the edges slightly puffed for a soft, rounded look.

  4. Bake: Brush each bow with egg wash and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 7 minutes or until golden and crisp.

  5. Garnish and serve: Let the bows cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm with your favorite tea or coffee!
